Autumn Nintendo 3DS Roundup

Pokémon Sun and Moon kick things off, with new announcements including the reveal of Alolan Rattatta (Dark/Normal), who have adapted to avoid being hunted by Yungoos. So actual natural selection in a Pokémon game.

We also get the explanation for Z type moves, which will function similar to Mega Evolution, in that Pokémon can be given a held item to power up specific types of moves. There are also Z type moves that can only be used by certain Pokémon, like Alolan Raichu.

Buy before 11th January to get a unique Munchlax that carries Snorium Z. When evolved, this will give Snorlax one of those special unique Z type moves, Pulverising Pancake.
Game Launches on November 23rd, alongside a 2DS Bundle that comes with either version installed.

Before that, a special edition 3DS XL with silhouettes of the two game legendaries will be released on November 18th.

Super Mario Maker For Nintendo 3DS is revealed. This is a no brainer, using the touchscreen to build courses that will be much better suited for short bursts of gameplay on a handheld console.
This version of the game will come with 100 ready-made courses for players to enjoy, as well as some (but not all) courses designed on the WiiU version of the game. In addition, this game will feature a tutorial guide for making courses, but will lack the ability to search for specific courses via the ID system that the WiiU game uses.

Instead this game will feature the ability to pass your courses on to others in close proximity with either streetpass or direct transfer. Players will also be able to trade unfinished courses to collaborate on them.

Game will release on December 2nd 2016

Mario Party Star Rush is here, showcasing new game modes. Focus here is on Toad Rush, a mode where players play as different coloured Toad characters. This sees players all taking their turns at once, and strategically trying to reach Boss Minigames while also collecting Partner AI characters. These characters will earn points for their Toad in minigames.

The game is compatible with the Super Mario Amiibo figures, having different effects in each game mode.

Download Play and Local Multiplayer is confirmed for the game, and if other players download the additional free game, Mario Party Star Rush Party Guest, 4 players can play multiplayer without any limitations from one copy of the game as well as try some singleplayer games. (video below is the american version)

Game is out on October 7th, with the Glow in the Dark Boo, Wario, Rosalina and Donkey Kong Amiibo in stores on the same day.
Daisy, Waluigi and Diddy Kong Amiibo will follow on November 4th

To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Zelda Series, 4 New Amiibo have been Announced, 8 Bit Link from The Legend of Zelda, Link from Ocarina of Time and Toon Link and Toon Zelda from The Wind Waker.

Newly Announced, a 2D Pikmin action platformer. Tap the touchscreen to throw pikmin to solve puzzles, battle enemies. Rather than a strategy game with a time limit, now you must reach the goal at the end of the side scrolling level. Very cute use of both screens to convey just how tiny Olimar and the Pikmin are.
