Square Enix today confirmed the rumors swirling over the weekend, Final Fantasy XV has in fact been delayed till November 29th.
In a video produced by Square Enix, they confirmed the date switch. They offered the reasoning that the team has been working on content, fixes and general polishing for a day one patch. In the end, they decided to delay the game to add this work on to the master disc, so as to allow all players, and not just those with internet connections to enjoy it.
The logic is sound, with the team obviously wanting to put the game out in the best state possible. Now an extra wait is in store for fans till November 29th.
But to be fair, after all this time waiting for the game, is another two months really going to be so long?
