Tacoma is a story you know, in a place you don’t. The characters are familiar and real, but the setting is literally otherworldly. It is the story of ordinary people in an extraordinary situation. Tacoma is a first person interactive drama from Fullbright. You play as corporate worker named Amyitjyoti  (Amy) Ferrier. You’ve been sent to gather the Onboard Management AI from the abandoned Tacoma Space station. You’ve been hired to go and gather all the recordings of the crew, to find out what happened to cause the station to stop functioning a few days ago.

Stories are great. Not all stories get the audience they deserve though. Every week, Geek Errant is going to pick one Book, Game, TV Series or Film and give it the spotlight. Some of these will be very niche, something that only a few people will ever care about. But that’s why they matter. Everyone deserves to get their story heard.

Geek Errant Reviews: Clustertruck

September 28, 2016 Conor 0

Jump. Jump. Slow Time, pivot in the air, the truck below is about to flip. Wait one, bounce off airborne truck, realise target truck is not going to be fast enough. Slow time. Grapple to trucks packed together. Bounce. Jump. Sprint jump to clear the goal. One level in Clustertruck. Maybe ten seconds of gameplay. How fast can you react? Clustertruck is a fast paced first person platforming game developed by Landfall Games and published by tinyBuild Games. The player starts on top of a convoy of erratically moving trucks. They can’t touch the environment objects or the floor. They must reach a goal at the end of the level as quick as possible. That’s the core gameplay objective.
